Response to Your Comments

Thanks for taking the time to post such thoughtful comments, everyone. I hope you all take the time to read one another's comments. They show how much variety we bring to this topic. I think this is representative of all of our schools in general; one teacher very much at ease with integrated teaching is next door to a colleague whose experiences have been more frustrating than successful. Not unlike other aspects of our craft - some of us are naturally effective with discipline, others connect readily with at-risk students, and still others seem to be effortless in engaging learners with unique opportunities, as examples. We can learn from one another if we are willing to share strengths and work on weaknesses together. Perhaps this short series of meetings will give each of you something new to move you along on your path to even better teaching.

Feel free to add to the discussion.
